Warm Springs Specialty Hospital at Luling is a long-term acute care hospital (LTCH) designed to care for patients with complex medical problems that require a longer hospital stay. Common diagnoses for patients admitted to this facility include acute or chronic respiratory disorders, chronic cardiac conditions, chronic wounds, spinal cord or brain injury and recovery from complicated hip replacement surgery. Patients’ therapy programs at the Warm Springs LTCH facility are modified to accommodate those who are not able to endure the intensity of services provided at other rehabilitation hospitals.
