
A board certified neurologist, Dr. Altman specializes in the symptom management of patients with neurological disorders and is currently involved in research to learn about prevention techniques for these chronic and debilitating conditions. He is a 1996 graduate from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine internship at Hartford Hospital. He also completed a neurology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio in 2000, followed by a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Brown University in 2001. He spent a year as an assistant professor and consultant neurologist at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University before becoming a partner in the Neurology Center of San Antonio.
