Historically, all Warm Springs facilities have been a partner in their community and San Antonio is no exception. Through the Resourcenter, Warm Springs has been able to provide the community information, education, transportation services and meeting room for many local organizations.

A website with hundreds of links, on-site educational materials and phone support are some of the information resources that are available to our patients and the community. Educational opportunities range from GED classes to computer software training designed to promote independence. Adaptive equipment, such as JAWS and REACH, available on many of the centers computers help open new worlds to people with disabilities. A wide range of support groups, including the oldest stroke support group in San Antonio, use our classrooms to hold their meetings.

Programs such as, Texas Agrability, which helps people with disabilities in Agribusiness remain productive and OASIS, a wide-ranging activities program for people over 50, allow Warm Springs an opportunity to extend a helping hand beyond the walls of our hospital.
