When a patient is admitted to Warm Springs, an on-site physician from the South Texas PM&R Group will do an evaluation to determine their condition and rehab needs. This, however, is just the beginning of the relationship between our doctors and their patients. Every morning each patient is visited by doctors to monitor their condition and evaluate their progress. Once a week physicians, therapists, case managers and nurses meet to conduct "patient care conferences", to evaluate each patients progress. Even after a patient is released from the hospital and transitions to outpatient therapy he will continue to see their PM&R doctor until his rehabilitation is completed.
