Beyond the standard set of physical, speech and occupational therapy services, Warm Springs offers a wide variety of specialty services and programs. We are one of the only rehabilitation facilities in San Antonio who offers a lymphedema management program. Our, Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, is staffed by a team of specialized physicians, nurses and technicians trained in compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and nutritional assessment. Like paramedics the staff is ACLS trained and the physicians are experts in wound management. In addition to wound care, we have a physician who is certified in pain management and a therapist who specializes in balance and vestibular rehabilitation. Other specialty programs include spasticity management and an indoor, warm water, aquatic therapy program. Our Animal Assisted Therapy Program, which allows specially trained dogs to be actively involved in the patients' therapy program or just to visit our patients, never ceases to bring smiles and warm feelings from them.
