After establishing the first rehabilitation hospital in Texas in
1937, Warm Springs Rehabilitation System has provided the healing touch
to thousands of Texans recovering from accidents, injury and illness. Today,
more than 60 years since its founding to treat children and adults during
the polio epidemic of the 1930s and '40s, Warm Springs has kept abreast
of the changing rehabilitation needs of patients. It has grown from a single
rehabilitation hospital to a statewide for-profit system of inpatient
and outpatient rehabilitation specialty centers. However, its mission remains
the same.
Throughout the communities we serve, the Warm Springs Rehabilitation System
offers hope and acts as a catalyst for achieving an optimal quality of life
