With 3 hospitals, 7 outpatient clinics and a corporate office, Warm Springs employs over 700 people in 7 cities throughout South Texas. Of these, approximately one-third are classified as part-time or casual part-time (PRN). By maintaining a large pool of employees who wish to work at the convenience of Warm Springs, we are able to maintain a core staff of employees to meet budgeted needs and supplement with extra available staff, as an increased patient census requires.
Warm Springs offers a unique support program for its facilities and line staff through its internal consulting function. A cadre of consultants, internal to Warm Springs, is available to assist the facility administrators by providing expertise in nursing, therapy, case management, ancillary services, dietetics, food and nutrition services, risk management and safety and housekeeping. They provide system leadership for their specific disciplines in policy and procedure development, staff training and leadership mentoring, management relief, and preparation for accrediting agency surveys.
